A new hotel chain is set to bring a much-loved brand to Australia’s shores.

The Ri Group, which has been in Australia for over a year, has raised about $500m from investors who include Australian billionaire Richard Brancasons son, Sir Richard.
Its brand was initially launched as the Ri Hotel, which was a subsidiary of China’s State Administration of Hotels and Resorts, and is now known as the Rijksmuseum, and the Ri has launched four hotels in Australia, according to the company.
“The Ri brand has proven itself as a great luxury brand and will help us continue to expand the brand globally,” CEO Rob Jaffe said in a statement.
“We are proud to announce our first new hotel in Australia in 2019 and look forward to welcoming guests from around the globe.”‘
Vibe of luxury’The company has been busy raising capital to finance its expansion and expand its hotels.
The group says it expects to open its new hotels in 2019.
“To date we have launched four luxury hotels in our new Australian locations, and will have opened a further four luxury properties by the end of 2021,” Mr Jaffe added.
“These will be all brand new, luxury hotels with all of the latest amenities and services.”‘
A great luxury hotel’The Ri group has been one of Australia’s most successful hotel chains.
In fact, it has built up a huge following, with its hotels serving a range of customers from elite to average citizens.
It operates four of its eight luxury hotels across Australia.
Mr Jaffe says the group’s brands have proven themselves as “a great luxury” brand and it will be a huge boost to the Ri brand’s expansion in Australia.
“There’s a strong desire for a brand that brings a unique brand to the market, and we are happy to offer a luxury hotel experience that brings this to a whole new audience,” he said.
“Our goal is to have the Ri Group brand reach as many of the same destinations as the brands that make it famous.”
The Ri is a family business owned by Chinese billionaire Sir Rob Jaffes son, who has been investing in Australia through the Ri Foundation since the early 2000s.
The firm says it is targeting a $10 billion (AUD$12 billion) market by the 2020s and is looking to grow further.
“If you go back to when Ri opened its first hotel in the early 1990s, you’ll see how much growth it had,” Mr Branca said.
The company’s new hotels will feature the luxury properties of the Ri hotel brands, including its four flagship hotels in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
“Over the years we’ve been able to expand our brand to include all of our hotel brands in Australia,” Mr Barcaccac said.’
A new luxury hotel brand’Ri Hotel Group’s chief executive Rob Jasson said the company would build on the brand’s success by adding a new luxury brand to its portfolio.
“It is our aim to be a brand with a high quality of experience and luxury experiences, with a focus on luxury,” he added.
Ri hotel brands have been around for decades, but they’ve largely been used for high-profile events and high-priced hotels, with the brands generally limited to events at high-tier hotels.
“I think the Ri concept is very successful in the business,” Mr Jamon said.
