“Downtown Nashville Hotel” has reopened after “tough winters,” the hotel said in a statement.
The hotel opened its doors for the winter season in February after a fire destroyed several rooms.
The building will reopen in mid-March and provide guests with a new experience as the hotel reopens after “a year of difficult winters,” according to the statement.
Nashville Mayor Megan Barry praised the hotel’s efforts.
“It was really tough for everyone who was here in February and it was really hard for me, because I had never been there before, so I think it was a really important step,” Barry said.
“So we’re really grateful that the hotel is back up and running, it’s great to see it back up.”
The “DNC Hotel” in Atlanta is one of the three properties to close this winter.
The other two properties are in the Southside District of Nashville.
The city said in October that the South Side District of the Atlanta Mall will close for the first time in nearly 40 years.
